Samantha Bryan has devoted her life to the world of fairies. Through illustration and sculpture she aims to give us a glimpse into a magical world, in her words the objective of her work is 'to realise the necessities and requirements that would be involved in ‘fairy life’: to provide everything a fairy would demand during its daily existence.’

2022 marks 20 years of her enchanted adventure and to celebrate this landmark Sam is releasing a commemorate book, which celebrates some of her favourite sculptures. It will feature early work, memories, sketches and studio photography. After some years of working together we were delighted when Sam asked us to be involved in realising the vision. Sam curated a beautiful shoot in her fairy workshop to capture the detail involved in the process as well as all of the curio that creates the magic, and we used these beautiful images as the central inspiration to help us bring the book to life.

Samantha says:

“With fairy sculpture releases selling out quickly in recent years, and with the process of making one being extremely time-consuming, I’ve been keen to create a printed piece that can help the story of the fairies travel far and wide.”
